PowerISO là một chương trình chỉnh sửa,tạo và burn file ISO khá mạnh mẽ. Giao diện thân thiện, dễ dùng. Sau đây là một số tính năng chính của chương trình

I. Tạo file .ISO

a, - Để tạo một file .ISO mới, tại cửa sổ chương trình, bạn nhấn new

- Tại menu, chọn thẻ Action, chọn vào Add file(s) hoặc Add folder để thêm file hoặc folder có sẵn trên ổ cứng vào file .iso sẽ tạo. Hoặc chọn New folder để tạo một folder mới.

- Cuối cùng sau khi tạo và chỉnh sửa file .iso theo ý mình xong thì bạn có thể save nó lại.

b, Tạo file .ISO từ một đĩa CD dữ liệu có sẵn

bạn cho đĩa vào ổ CD, sau đó mở chương trình, tại menu, chọn thẻ tool, chọn Make Image file from CD/DVD-ROM

tại cửa sổ hiện ra, tại khung Source driver chúng ta chọn ổ đĩa chứa CD cần tạo Image. Ở khung phía dưới đánh dấu vào .iso, ở nút có dấu ... phía dưới ta chọn đường dẫn tới nơi lưu file.

Sau đó nhấn OK

II. Chỉnh sửa file .ISO có sẵn

tại cửa sổ chương trình, bạn nhấn Open, mở file .iso có sẵn trên ổ cứng ra,

ví dụ với một file .iso nhỏ, chưa tới 700 MB như file .iso của đĩa Hiren's boot, nếu burn ra đĩa 700 MB thì rất phí. Bạn có thể add thêm dữ liệu vào và save lại và ghi ra đĩa cho đỡ phí

ngoài ra, chương trình có thể kiểm tra file .iso đó khi burn ra đĩa thì có thể boot được không, bằng cách xem dòng chữ phía dưới góc bên trái

III. Ghi đĩa từ file .iso
ở cửa sổ chương trình bạn nhấn vào nút Burn

tại cửa sổ hiện ra
bạn chọn file .iso cần ghi, chọn ổ đĩa sẽ ghi và tốc độ ghi, sau đó nhấn burn ( Nên dùng tốc độ chậm thôi, mình thường ghi ở 24x )

IV. Sử dụng ổ đĩa ảo của PowerISO
bạn mở tính năng PowerISO Virtual Driver Manager lên,

kick chuột phải vào biết tượng của chương trình dưới khay hệ thống và set số lượng đĩa ảo sẽ tạo

Sau đó chọn vào từng ổ đĩa ảo khi kich chuột phải vào biểu tượng dưới khay hệ thống, chọn mount image và dẫn tới file .iso cần đọc.
Sau đó vào my computer mở ổ đĩa ảo để đọc
